For example, the calculator does not account for the complexity of training, where multiple training or development events are blended with the knowledge, skills and experience of the learner to create new learning, thereby amplifying the value associated with the events.
*Note: the alternate 70% claim for knowledge loss is informed by the 70-20-10 model, where 70% of learning and development is claimed to occur on the job - thereby linking knowledge loss to an individual's time in post and not just training and development spend.
